 https://youtu.be/GnPEOVe_TRc For my second blog, I interviewed one of our ELL teachers in 4 th grade, Brenda Garcia. Mrs. Garcia has been teaching for over 13 years. She has been in multiple campus for teaching before coming to Taylor Ray. Her first language was Spanish living in Mexico, until 5 where she started her English and phonics and such. It was hard at first for her to speak both English and Spanish just to not feel embarrassed but not sure how respond at some points. When it comes to her students, Mrs. Garcia talks about her bilingual students and talk about anchor charts, a preview in lesson in Spanish, and then whole groups in English and then back to Spanish to review. She also as accommodations such as extra time, small group support, and resources online to use, as well as books for other subjects for science and social studies. First Vblog

 Welcome to my first blog! I will be talking about myself in the following video and also about learning language experience that I had. I will talk briefly about my teaching philosophy and how second and foreign languages are learned best while developing English.  https://youtu.be/ue81ejIGXSo The video talks about my personal life in language and the answers to the 2 questions are below. A) I was born in Texas as my mom was while my dad was born in Guadamala. He came to the United States and met my mom in their 20s. I had a hard time speaking and learned much later where I needed to see a doctor about my speech delay. Mt dad would speak Spanish to me to get me to learn it but with the issues I had, my mom told to stop. I was put into a inclusion classroom in Pre-K where my way of communication was multaipatives that one teacher understood the most and eveneutally my mom and grandma pickrd up on it.
