 Welcome to my first blog! I will be talking about myself in the following video and also about learning language experience that I had. I will talk briefly about my teaching philosophy and how second and foreign languages are learned best while developing English.

The video talks about my personal life in language and the answers to the 2 questions are below.

A) I was born in Texas as my mom was while my dad was born in Guadamala. He came to the United States and met my mom in their 20s. I had a hard time speaking and learned much later where I needed to see a doctor about my speech delay. Mt dad would speak Spanish to me to get me to learn it but with the issues I had, my mom told to stop. I was put into a inclusion classroom in Pre-K where my way of communication was multaipatives that one teacher understood the most and eveneutally my mom and grandma pickrd up on it. By spring smester, i was in a classroom with other students. In Kindergarden and up to 5th grade, I went to see a speech therepist at our school where I would practice my prounacation of wording. The little experince I learned Spanish was in high school where the teachers would have us group in groups for the phoincs and also alone at times. I do not have any  ELL students in my student teaching as there are other billingual teachers that have them in their classrooms. 

B)My teaching philosophy is that every student can learn best when forming a connection with that student wheather it be their culture, their hobbies, or what student and teacher have in common. Having that connection can get students invloved more when learning. That is one of the things I will do as a teacher that has students that are ELL. By having the resources for these students, they can learn English as well as forming connections to other students and staff. I can learn what their home orgins are, what language they use, the neighborhood they stay, and more on these students when I have some of my own.
